Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaeo or Wat Lan Khuat ( Temple of a Million Bottles ) was the idea of the Venerrable Vivekasdhammacharaya or Luang Pu Lot who said the transparency of grass when exposed to sunlight always shine like the light of the dhamma that one should aim to achieve. Bottles placed upside down ,upright ,or horizontally can teach people dhamma. The main pavilion is name
Maha Chedi Kaeo Aseembly Hall. The floating ordination hall is where the Buddha image of white jade is enshrined ,with the backdrop decorated beautifully with caps of various bottled drinks.
