The Royal Thai Air Force was founded in 1952 for the purposed of collecting and restoring aircraft ,weapons ,communication devices ,pilot ,supplies ,uniforms ,important document and packages relevent to aviation. In 1969 ,the RTAF museum was oficially opened for visitors to experiance.
With the education facility ,library of aviation history and innovative approach ,the RTAF museum has been advanced and rename to "National Aviation Museum of the Royal Thai Air Force" in 2014 (Ref. : National Aviation Museum of the Royal Thai Air Force 's brochure )
